In this tutorial you will learn “how to install WordPress automatically using cPanel”. In order to do this you must have the access of your website cPanel and Fantastico access, most of the web hosting company’s cPanals have this option. If don’t have this option you would have to install WordPress manually.
Step1. The first thing you need to do login to your cPanal that would be possible with the URL look like: www.YourDomainName.com/cpanel and simply enter your user name and password.
Step 2. Scroll down the screen and find “Fantastico De Luxe” it will appear with a smiley face, this way you will be able to install WordPress automatically, click on it.
Step 3. Now you can see some of the famous CMS like Drupal, Jumala, WordPress and Custom, we will go ahead with the WordPress.
Step 4. Now they will ask you to install WordPress on your main site or a sub-directory, here we install it on the main site. Keep the box empty of “Install in Directory” to install it on the main site.
Step 5. They will ask you to put your username and password that be used to enter into your WordPress website dashboard. You may also put an email as admin and they will send you installation conformation and other important updates related to your website. Click on Install button and it time to visit your site WP dashboard.
You simply need to put “wp-admin” with your domain name in URL section, just like www.YourDomainName.com/wp-admin and enter the username and password you choose during the installation and you will be in.
