In this short video tutorial will learn “how to upload and format images in WordPress using Media Manager”. Here you need an image to upload, login to your WordPress Dashboard, go to Media Library. This way allows you to upload image into your WordPress website.
Go to Add New, that allow you to several ways to upload your image, you may click on choose file or use drag and drop option.
It’s time to drag and drop your image into your site it must be upload easily but if see this error; “this image has failed to upload to the site.”
Go to FileZilla, which is useful FTP program, then login to your website and fine “wp-content” folder, create a new folder. Click right and make Directory, then create another folder named Uploads. Here you have to chance the file permissions to 777, click Okay. Now give another try to the same image and drag and drop it again in your WordPress media files it should work now.
Once it works, now you can do several things with your image like:
- Image name
- Alt text
- Crop or resize image
- Rotate image to left, right, up or down
Set it as per your needs now it’s ready to insert in your post of page.
