A Footer is a bottom section of a WordPress website, which usually appears on all pages of a website. It contains some important pages, categories, author bio, copy right issues, disclaimer content, affiliate page, sponsors or social media icons for reader’s engagement.
There is a sub area of Footer section, which is called footer widget area above the footer that usually appears in boxes. However here are some of the special tips to create a perfect WordPress footer area.
A footer area typically contains the rest of the content with a colored background, but the color of footer background should be according to your website background.
You may determine the design of your footer area and the number of boxes as per your requirements. Usually a footer area may contains one, two, three or four widget boxes to show different type of content of your website.

You may add a drop up page button at the bottom of your website to go back on the header of your website. And never make your footer area bigger and don’t add too much content at the bottom of your page.
